Welding (or soldering) consists of permanently joining 2 or more elements together and allowing continuity between these elements. The assembly can be done using several methods: heating, pressure or both combined. With regard to the welding of metals there are three main techniques: homogeneous welding, heterogeneous welding type A and heterogeneous welding type B.
